With the plug-and-play design, the ZyXEL Desktop Ethernet Switches make it easy to connect

networked devices such as PCs, networked storages and print servers to your home network; and the

“green” solutions allow all ZyXEL Desktop Ethernet Switches to provide power-saving benefits without

compromising performance by automatically reducing power usage when a shut down network device

or inactive link is detected. In addition, they automatically detect the length of connected Ethernet cables

and adjust power usage accordingly. The shorter the Ethernet cable length, the less power it consumes.
