3.4.2.1 Check the Installation

Next, ensure that Apache has installed correctly.

1 Open a browser window.

2 In the URL bar, enter “http://localhost”. If Apache is correctly installed, a screen similar

to the following appears.

3.4.3 Set Up the Demo Interface

When you have successfully installed the Apache HTTP Server on your computer, take the

following steps

1 First, locate the demo files. These files provide an interface for the media server that

allows you to select and watch videos on your TV using the STB’s remote control.

The demo files are available on the CD that came with your STB.
